High-quality silver gelatin paper. Using for a photography class. I've seen other students using other brands of paper and the quality is not nearly as consistent.

I teach high school photography, and I have been using Ilford IV RC Deluxe paper for as long as I can remember, which is to say, 20 years. I recommend it to my students as well. It gives prints a finished, professional look. Even without filters it delivers plenty of contrast.

I don't know what I would do without Ilford RC pearl Paper!!! It is what I use for Everything I print with the exception of Gallery prints that are to be framed with archival matte board- Luckily Ilford also makes AWESOME fiber based papers for that purpose. We are EXTREMELY lucky to have a company like Ilford that is dedicated to continue making products for traditional silver gelatin printing!!! I cannot think of any way that Pearl RC could be any better- it has been around since I started printing in 1978, and I have never seen another RC surface that compares!! Also, this paper is more durable than any other RC paper I have used in the past- Variations in water temperature do not seem to bother it as much as other papers I have used. I use it in summer and winter without the use of chillers(Summer time), or adding hot water in the winter. I only hope it is always available like it has been for the last 35 years!!!
