I use 16-Gb cards - typically - as a short-term-backup for 4-Gb cards; enabling me to minimize the total quantity of cards I carry on any long-weekend, coast-to-coast, excursion. Simply, a fewer number of cards to keep track of...

I use this card with my Canon 7D and it works great. I shoot sports at 8fps and it never bogs down or slows me up. I also use it shooting HD video with the camera and it handles it with no issues.

Nearly all my cards are Lexar, and this one is currently my primary card. None of my Lexar CF cards have ever let me down.

As a professional photographer, I must depend on my compact flash cards to perform at 100% all the time. I shoot Nikon's D3x so I need a card that can handle large files. I trust my reputation to Lexar cards.

You can't beat a fast, reliable card. I have a 400x and a 600x and both are amazing. Pair them with a firewire card reader and you're set. Don't risk losing your work on a no-name brand card or a card that can't keep up with your shooting.

I got the 16gb 400x Lexar cards after using Sandisk 8gb 30mb/s cards previously. They seem to work great so far and I would recommend them if anyone looks for alternatives to Sandisk.

I've never seen anything like it. I was downloading the images off of this 32 gig card and it failed completely. I can neither read, write nor format the card. I've been shooting digital since 2003 and have never had a card fail so completely on me. As you might imagine, I had a lot of images on this card. I bought this card in February and it self-destructed in April. I've written Lexar but have not heard back from them. I own SanDisk and Kingston cards as well. The continue to be 100% reliable.

Bought this to use my 7D more effectively. This card does the job. So far, so good. Hope to get much more use with my video now!

I replaced my SanDisk 8GB extreme 111 with these bigger and faster cards in my Canon 1DMkIV and what a difference. Not much to say other than I can now capture more raw files and process at faster speeds. These work great. Dr VinnyB

I could shoot 19 frames straight of 15 megapixel RAW images (without JEPGs) on 6.3 fps before it slowed down. (According to Canon spec. approx. 16 frames for RAW) And a few second later it was ready to go again. Pretty impressive.
