Lexar 64GB Professional 1000x CompactFlash Memory Card

I shoot many weddings in large, RAW format. The 32Gb capacity CF cards were nice but had to be replaced to get through a long day. With multiple cameras, that only complicated the problem exponentially. The 64Gb card is the right capacity and the download speed from the card to the computer is faster. Just what I needed.

I've tried several brands of CF cards over the years, but find Lexar to be the best in reliability. I shoot a lot of all day weddings with a Nikon D800 and D700, so I need something that is not only fast, but that I can trust.

Btw, I did have an exact same card go bad after less than a year and Lexar was quick to make good on the warranty replacement. This was probably an unusual circumstance in terms of early corruption, so no bad marks for Lexar here. They were quick to respond.

Lexar cards are supremely high quality cards. This card is super high speed, and writes fast. Can't ask for more than that.

I've been using this card since August with a Nikon D800 camera and it has been great. I've never had a single problem with the card and have shot over 6,000 exposures in weather from freezing to 80 degrees.

Large capacity gives you the abililty to capture tons of pictures and/or vids. Fast speed eliminates the bottle neck slower cards creates.
