If I change it to RAW format instead of JPG it will hold 915 pictures. If I do both RAW and JPG it will hold 773 pictures. Also, it will shoot 59 minutes worth of HD video resoluti@ 1920 resolution. It's a great product and it's also a safe way to store your photos.JACQIE O : I believe 16gb will hold 800 picturesJOHN L : It depends on the size of the photos, which is determined by the quality settings in your camera (check your manual because different manufacturers use different names for the same features). A 16GB SDHC card can hold up to approximately 6100 photos at 10mb each. So that would be 12,200 5mb photos, over 60,000 1mb photos. In other words, it will hold a LOT of photos. Most people could safely set their cameras to the highest quality settings and never worry about running out of space. You should move the photos to your computer for editing or printing. This will help keep the card from filling up if you take LOTS and LOTS of photos and if you want to print or edit them it will go much more quickly.

Expect continued reliability

This SDHC card has good capacity for today's higher-megapixel-count cameras and the larger file sizes they generate. Being class 10, operating speed shouldn't be a problem. (In the interest of full disclosure, I don't do burst shooting.) The main thing for me is reliability. I haven't had this card long enough to rate that, but other Lexar cards I've had, some for several years, have never failed. I expect this one will prove to be equally reliable over time

Great Digital Card for travel

I have used these Lexar Cards for a number of years. They buffer fast; are reliable and store more than enough pics for a 2 week travel event. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs good, reliable and high storage for traveling. The twin pack is also a good way to save some bucks!

Good buy

Perfect for my Canon EOS 60D

First impressions after only 2 days using the Lexar card in my Canon EOS 60D -- great. Plug-n-play. The 16GB size gives me about 424 images when saving RAW(L) and JPEG, my usual setting. I like having multiple cards so the 16GB card is great for me. I switch out cards for different events, so I delay removing the images from my sdhc card. I do not delete individual images -- rather I reformat the card when I do decide to purge the memory card.
