Questions & Answers

Shopper : which brand of image recovery software is included with this card?REGIS D : Image Rescue 4CAROL B : Conincidentally I just had to recover from that particular card. I downloaded the Lexar recovery software from their website. It worked great and I got all of my pictures back.J S H : I do not recall that it came with recovery software or if so, it may have been on the card itself which I formatted in my camera. Regardless, the bestrecovery software out there is freeware called Recuva. It works better than any other commercial recovery software I've tested (including the one from Sandisk) Good luck and enjoy the card.STEVEN C : It's called Lexar Image Rescue software. The software isn't actually on the card. There is a website listed on the box and a password inside the box that allows you to download the software. I have not used the software as the cards haven't failed in any way, but I did download the software to my computer.JAMES E : Image Rescue 4.ROBERT L : Lexar, of courseMARION R : The image recovery software associated with this SD card is Lexar's Image Rescue 4. It's not on the card itself but is dowloadable from Lexar using a passcode included in the paperwork accompanynig the card. I haven't dowloaded it so I have no opinion on its usefulness. The card has worked well in my Nikons.ANDREW M : it icludes downloadable Image Rescue® 4 software to recover lost or deleted photo and video files.GREGG S : Lexar Image Rescue 4 downloadable software.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?ANNE M : News photo shooting - where the value of the images is worth so much more than the added expense over a "generic" card.STEVE W : Lexar makes the best cards.MARK H : new camera needs new memory card ...for me LEXAR is the brand nuff said very pleasedVERN L : I chose this Lexar card for its reliability. I have been disappointed with other cards I have used in the past.JAMES G : The speed at which you can take another picture means you won't loose the shot you want...ROBERT M : I wanted to see if the "high speed" SD card had any significant advantages over a standard SD card. Results: None that I can determine.Sebastian T : Speed and accuracy at anice priceSTEVE S : Price for one. It was a bargain. I read bad reviews on this card compared to the 4 GB but I've had no problems. I've always used Lexar and have great results.RONALD H : As a gift for a friend.PAT G : Came as part of the K-5 Kit

What's not to like?

It's fast. It's big enough to store a lot of pictures. I haven't had any problems with it and I don't expect any in the future.

A fast picture card

I use my camera to take photo reference for paintings I do professionally as well as taking pictures for my own enjoyment. I have been very impressed with the speed and storage ability of these chips. They also make it easy for me to do larger capacity photos and still have room for my every day pictures on the same card so I don't need to change cards when I am on vacation and want to take a photo for professional use or when I want to record a painting for reproduction and I am away from home.

Great SDHC!!!

I use it as the main storage on the camera. I also have a duplicate as a back up. It is fast so burst shots are quickly stored. Great for movies. No waiting.

Speedy transfer of large files. Used in a card reader. Was part of a camera "package" and I would likely purchase same kind again.

This is the best memory card you can buy for the money! It is fast, reliable and holds tons of photos. It will take a long time to fill this card, and I shoot a lot.

Mine included Image Rescue v4

Obviously this is a great card. I bought it, though, to get Image Rescue 4 for free... and it works great. I just used it yesterday to retrieve two JPGs I deleted from a SanDisk compact flash card (and the software came with a Lexar SD card). What a great deal.

FEATURED REVIEWS

Worth every penny.

By Dave_In_Alexandria

I just recieved the Lexar Pro 8GB. Whether it is a Class 6 (on card) or class 10 (on sites) I haven't been able to figure out, but I'm very happy with it. I have had no problems recording HD video, it soaks up high speed shooting, and in reading on computer or on TV it's easily the fastest card I ever had. Two thumbs up.

No probelms and I have 2 of these discs

By Symbol

I was a bit wary after reading the previous reviews but since I have used Lexar products before I bought them anyways. (BTW, there are many more postivie reviews on other sites) I own two of these discs and they both are preforming well. I use them in a Nikon D80 and save both high res .jps and RAW shots with each shoot. No problems yet. If they fail I will come back and post about it.
