Having used a Mack warranty I can vouch that it is well worth it. I sent my camera in and within two weeks had my repaired camera back and it is functioning as good as new. Mack even cleaned it for me!

A Mack Camera drops and spills warranty is as good as gold. There are no gimmicks or gotchas in the fine print as there are with so many other third-party warranties.

We just got this warranty,when our camera was delivered. It was easy to understand and to register. Other than that I don't have much to say since our camera is brand new and we haven't had to make any claims.

I have used this warranty in the past with a camera that went ary on a trip to Ecuador. Sent it in for repairs and came back brand new. So I find for a significant lens I am more comfortable taking it out and about knowing I have the accidental drop insurance that does what it says it will do!

Easy to get started online. Just remember you will need your receipt and the contract card to make a claim; so keep your records. Have not had to use it yet, so I cannot comment on the service.

Bought this particular contract because it provides the best value for the money. I am prone to accidentally damaging my items, and that is covered under this warranty! Awesome! I will not be afraid of handling our DSLR!

There isn't much to say about this other than I think it's a good idea to have insurance. I bought this for my new 5DMK3 in the event it got damged. I've never had a claim w/ this company so I really can't rate them, thus the three stars. I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Full disclosure: I haven't needed to use the warranty yet. But I've heard from a number of pros that it's just as good as it claims to be, and it claims a lot. In addition to the covered routine maintenance, it seems like they will fix your camera if anything happens to it short of getting stolen. The price is more than worth the peace of mind.

I bought the Diamond Service Contract, because for a few bucks extra, it covers dropping the camera or getting it wet. Mack has been good about repairs in the past.

I bought this 3 year all-inclusive warranty for a point-and-shoot camera that I will be taking with me on hiking and outdoor adventures. I'm not usually one to purchase extra warranties for my electronics, but the Mack 3 Diamond was too good to pass up for all of the coverage it provides. I honestly cannot think of any other scenarios that could be covered by the M3D service contract. Everything from water damage, accidental drops, to wear and tear from expected use are covered. As I am an active person in all sorts of weather and locations, the assurance that my camera is protected means I'm not held back from taking amazing pictures due to worrying about the safety of my equipment. I can push my skills and camera farther knowing that, should an accident occur, the damage won't be permanent.

its hard to rate a protection plan when I just bought it. I hope I don't need to use it right? I'll be more than happy to rate this after processing a claim should i need to down the road. Please read your warranty material - I found I had to register the warranty number with Mack.

I have yet to have any problems so I'm not sure how Mack's customer support really is but knowing that I can get my 85L II repaired or replaced for free makes me far more comfortable shooting with it and allows me to concentrate on what's important during shoots.

I RECEIVED MY NIKON D5100 CAMERA FROM ADORAMA...THE MEMORY CARD WAS IN THE BOX AND WAS SUGGESTED BY THE ADORAMA SALES REP OVER THE PHONE AS I DID NOT KNOW WAHT TO ORDER...THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WHEN EVERYTHING ARRIVED WAS HOW WELL THE ITEMS WERE PACKED WITH LOTS OF BUBBLE WRAP, ECT. THE BOX ITSELF WAS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING (UPS FAULT)..BUT THE CAMERA AND ACCESSORIES WERE VERY PROTECTED. WHEN I GOT THE CAMERA OUT ..IT LOOKED LIKE A BRAND NEW CAMERA AND CAMERA SUPPLES (MEMORY CARD, FILTERS, ECT) WERE ALL NEW AND PACKAGING IN GREAT CONDITION...I WAS VERY IMPRESSED SEEING THIS IS THE FIRST REFURBISHED CAMERA I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. WHEN I CHECKED THE ACTUATIONS ON IT I WAS IMPRESSED THAT IT WAS A LITTLE LESS THAN 500. MY WHOLE EXPEREINCE WITH THIS CAMERA PURCHASE AND ADORAMA WAS VERY PLEASANT. I was able to buy this warranty twenty days after my initial purchase, while I still could have returned the camera and lens. How does it get better than that? A registration card was shipped out to me and the online registration was a cinch--no profile or password creation necessary, just name, address, date of purchase, product serial number, warranty number, and a few other bits.

OK, I admit it. I drop things. Lots of things. And when you drop a $2000 camera it can pretty much ruin your day. Especially since Canon will tell you that it's your fault and to send them a big check if you want it fixed. Fair, but unhappy nonetheless. Price a LCD lately? Truthfully, I haven't needed to use the Mack 3-Year Diamond Warranty yet. However, I have used Mack Warranties in the past, and they have been very reliable, professional and repaired my cameras in a timely manner. It's like having a Leica Passport Warranty for your equipment. It covers you for any peril except intentional destruction or theft. Get it.
The Diamond Warranty will provide you with much more than any other service contract has to offer.
