Head will not handle advertised weight

I used this tripod with a D5 Mark II with a 70-200 f/4. The tripod traveled well. It was light; easy to assemble and disassemble and was stable for photos of scenery and portraits, so long as the camera was horizontal. The head slipped every time the camera was in the vertical position. Probably great for lighter combinations of cameras and lenses.
