Questions & Answers

Shopper : What does it weigh?RUDY F : don't know the exact weight but it is very lightJOE R : My scales show it to weigh 5# with a BDHO ball head attached. The tripod comes with a well made carry bag with a shoulder strap and handgrip. I am quite happy with mine!NEAL S : 4.4 lbs (The weight is listed under tech specs on Adorama's site).
Shopper : can i use a manfroto head on this?PETER W : Depends on the lug but I would think yes. Didn't keep the Enduro for un related reasons.RICHARD N : I do not see why not, universal screw mount on the tri-pod head mounting assembly.JOE R : The Induro tripod will accept any head that is threaded for the 3/8-16 screw. I am very satisfied with the Induro ball head.JAY R : Any head.BRUCE O : This tripod will take any standard tripod head with the normal threaded connection. I would be surprised if it would not accept any manfrottoJACOB J : Yes. You can use any head you want, as long as it accepts a 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch tripod screw.JOHN L : Yes. I have the Manfrotto 496RC2 and it mounts beautifully. Love the tripod and the head.JESSE C : Yes, you can! I use the Manfrotto junior geared head on mine and it's a great combo!William B : i purchased the Induro AT214 tripod about 2 years ago. It has both the standard 1/4"-20 bolt and the 3/8"-16 bolt for heads. I use it with an Arca-Swiss head, a Benro head, an Acra-tech head, and a Winberley Gimball head. I read a review in which someone uses the Induro AT214 with a Manfrotto 498RC2 head.KURTIS J : I don't know why you wouldn't be able to. Any standard head should mount to it. I've used two different brand heads on mine without any problems.MICHAEL S : I believe so. I do not use a Manfroto head, but the threaded bolt is no different than my Markins would use.

Best tripod I've ever owned

I just bought one of these and I am very happy with it. I have not had a chance to put it in a real world shooting experience yet but just testing it out I couldn't be more pleased with the weight and how easy it is to setup and adjust it as needed. This will be very helpful with studio work as well as out in the field.

Great tripod for the money

I love this tripod for its features and packable length. Everything on it is great quality, and seems very durable. I also have their bigger 3 section tripod for studio work, or when I need the most stable platform available. This is more packable being 4 sections yet is still pretty stable for field work. This company makes great products. Very quick locking mechanism on legs!

Really liked but chose another.

Never got to use because compared to a cheaper model, which met my needs, I went with the less expensive. That said I was very impressed with the induro and its ease of extension via twist locks. very good construction.

Wow! Zero disappointments!

Like everyone else I researched this till I was sick of reading. I couldn't be happier with my decision to finally pull the trigger on these legs. Super stable even fully extended. Which by the way, is one of the best part of these legs is their height. Super quick to set up. Very happy with the twist locks. I would buy another set in a second if anything ever happened to this one. But I think I'd have to run them over with my car to be able to hurt them.

Induro Alloy Tripod: Stability & Price

I own a very expensive Gitzo carbon fiber tripod that I have used with my 400mm f/2.8 10lb lens along with my Wimberley Gimbal head for the past 3 years. The Gotzo is a fabulous tripod in all respects. This Induro AT214 can hold all the weight of my big lens, etc. is very stabile, and is easy to fold and unfold - and is a fraction of the price! Excellent details in the construction and in the extra tools and accessories they provide with the tripod.

WOW, what a tripod!

For the price, this tripod can not be beat. Don't fall for the carbon fiber mark up. This weighs just a few ounces more. You will not go wrong with this tripod. I can fit it into a backpack. I can carry it all day without tiring myself out. Solid and sturdy construction.
