Heavy duty, rock solid. Perfect for night, long exposure photography. It's not lightweight so not the best option for travelers. I use it with Benro B3 ballhead, very stable set up. Getting center column in reverse was a bit tricky but just takes a moment to figure out. Great quality for the price, definitely recommend!

Very strong and sturdy ballhead. Good size handles to tighten, or loosen. Holds firm with regular tightening, don't have to overtighten. The only thing I have noticed is the movement to pan has a little catch to it when I try to spin left, or right. Maybe it is warped or something.

Bought this as the base to mount my Astrotrac for astrophotography. This tripod fits the purpose nicely. It a little heavy for extended hiking but a great stable platform that can hold the weight. Beautiful construction, well made.
