Little bigger than I thought but it will stand lot higher and carry a heavier load then the Monfrotto 190XPROB that I was using. While it is heavier it is lighter than a comparable metal tripod. If traveling, you might want a smaller tripod.

Induro makes simply one of the finest camera support equipment in the world and CT314 is no exception. The tripod is extremely stable even in windy conditions. I've traveled with this tripod on my recent trips to Europe, Canada, UAE, and Australia and couldn't be more satisfied and happy with this beast of a thing that as elegant as it is stable. I am using a BHD3 ballhead with it but I guess you can easily use a BHD2 with it. Considering its volume, the tripod is quite light compared to some of its competition. It comes with its own bag and maintenance/toolkit. Induro's build quality is hard to find and I simply love their products.

Very solid and well-built tripod. Can't really compare with other carbon tripods but this seems to be a very acceptable and slightly more affordable way to acquire a high quality, and in my case tall, tripod.

Rock solid. Less vibration with carbon than aluminum. Kept putting off the purchase, kick myself now. Lighter to carry, SOLID! If this one is this good the CT414 has to be a tank.
