I bought this product as a gift for my wife so that she could take pictures when we go out. It is small and compact so its easy to carry around, it produces great pictures of good quality, and she can take pictures with it all night and not have to worry about the battery going out.

The autofocus is slow and the shutter lag is terribleImage quality is good and it fits in any pocket and costs[$] or so, so its a great take anywhere "photo notebook"The wide angle is a big plus

I bought this camera as an upgrade from what we were using. After having a baby we were taking many pictures daily. This camera takes great pictures with minor difficulty in low light. My biggest complaint is the lag time. When taking pictures of our active 8 month old, sometimes we don't get the shot we want because of the slow picture taking time. This lag time impacts the picture in relation to the flash; ie- the flash goes off and then the shutter goes, often times you get a picture with weird half closed eyes.
