VILMA F : what is refurbished mean?KEITH C : Refurbished mean that the camera had something wrong with it at one time or another. The manufacturer "refurbishes" the camera to bring it back to the strict specifications that Canon requires.

Many thanks, GerryCHARLES M : Nikon does a great job of refurbishing. I have not hesitated to buy refurbished items from them. Every item I have bought, two camera bodies and three lenses, have been in "new" condition.GEORGE D : The camera looks brand new as there was no scuff marks at all, the packaging is from factory (white box inside) clearly marked as reconditioned product. Even more surprising was the shutter counter was zero, but there was no information what reconditioning steps was performed to bring the counter back to zero. I would not hesitate to purchase refurbished camera again.W J R : The one I purchased was a couple of years ago, but it was in excellent shape cosmetically and still functions perfectly.EUGENE H : My D200 refurb has worked flawlessly for 3 years or so. With this camera, I have a lot of options without going into the menu so it speeds up any photo op. One complaint is that the 18-135 zoom tends to hunt at the 135 end. Best dealt with by autofocusing at wide end then zoom to long end and touch up.
Shopper : yes, it was great if they tell us the reason of returning in factory. and after that you know if you assume the risk of purchase the unit. do you know the techincal reason ?NANCY H : Refurbished goods sold by Adorama are all refurbished by the manufacturer (unless specified otherwise) to the original company's specifications. All Canon refurbished products from Adorama come with a 1 year return-to-Adorama warranty. All other refurbished goods they sell carry a 90-day return-to-manufacturer warranty.ANDREW R : Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify why a given unit is sent to refurbishment. Often times they were floor models, demos, pulled from the assembly line for QA, etc.. Refurbished cameras are offered to us in batches from the manufacturer. Refurbished goods sold by Adorama are all refurbished by the manufacturer (unless specified otherwise) to the original company's specifications. All refurbished equipment sold by Adorama include a 90-day return-to-manufacturer warranty.

The D2Hs comes with PictureProject, an easy-to-use software application for managing, editing and sharing image files.

The D2Hs is also compatible with Nikon's optional Nikon Capture 4 (Ver.4.2.1) software package that delivers a unique, powerful and expandable environment for full control over RAW(NEF) files.

Nikon Capture 4's Remote Camera Control function can control most shooting settings and trigger the camera's shutter release remotely, either connected via the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface, or using the optional Wireless Transmitter WT-2/2A. (PTP/IP wireless camera control requires Windows xP or Mac OS x.)

As part of Nikon's Total Imaging System, the D2Hs is compatible with Nikon's growing family of digital-exclusive DX Nikkor lenses as well as the lineup of high-quality Nikkor AF lenses.

When used with the SB-800 or SB-600 Speedlights, the D2Hs maximizes the potential of Nikon's Creative Lighting System with high precision flash performance, including i-TTL flash control and support for Nikon's Advanced Wireless Lighting system.
