The battery works well but beware of counterfeits. When shopping eBay make sure you find a real one. I also wish this battery fit other cameras.

Good Battery

Use battery as replacement for older Nikon battery. Had a generic replacement that almost ruined the camera. Battery life not the best but it works well on the D1X.

Good while it lasts

My batteries had consistent regular use by a full time pro over a year long period. After about a year or so, the batteries would say they had a full charge, but would only yield a few shots at best. At the end, they simply wouldn't power the camera at all, but still showed a full charge. However, new they charge quickly and last a long time.

With the available interchangeable Ni-MH Battery Pack EN-4 fully charged, you can take up to approx. 1,000 pictures* with the D1x, D1H and D1. The EN-4 can be recharged using the available Quick Charger MH-16 (100-240V AC)/MH-17** (12V DC) or Multi Charger MH-19** (100-240V AC/12V DC). The F100's Quick Charger MH-15 and the E3's EH-3 can also be used to charge the EN-4 battery.
