Just as good as the original
I am a mom who loves to take pictures of her children. I use my cameral almost every day and the on and off of the lense cap wore it out. I ordered this one and it was very easy to change out and works as if it were the original.

Pathetic but necessary
Considering the quality camera, the lens cap is a piece of junk. Nikon should be ashamed

Would Buy This
The cap that came with the camera never fit right. I was worried the lens would get scratched when the cap was lost. I though I would never find a cap that would fit. This cap fit perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone who needs to replace the lens cap. Don't hesitate order it now.

Lens Cap Won't Stay On
I like my P80 camera but the lens cap is about worthless because it won't stay on. There is nothing that latches--it is just supposed to have enough tension to hold, but the spongy ring responsible for doing that deteriorates rapidly. I'm using a rubber band to keep the lens cap on at this point--not fun.
