Works As Expected, What More Can I Ask!

AAs in MS-D10 saves money and works well
Great way to save money and speed up the grip. I used the enel3e battery in my d700 and an extra in the grip and would sometimes run out of juice in at least one battery. With AAs I can shoot for a whole day and still have full power. Its a longer lasting solution for power and it costs less than the enel4. If you have rechargeables for speedlights its a good easy solution for powering the camera. I don't regret getting this at all.

Works same as original
I wanted to have batteries at the ready for my MB-D10 and this fits the bill. As with most Nikon stuff, a little over-priced.
Last weekend I got 4000 shots (over 2 days) from a new, fully-charged set of Maha Imedion low-discharge AAs (2100mah) on my D300. I've decided to not put a battery in the camera and just use the AAs, since I now have two sets of Imedions and two AA holders. Plus, I can always use the two En-El3e batteries (one at a time!) I already own in the other holder that came with the MB-D10.
I'm not sure it was noted anywhere, but it also comes with one of the soft cases like you got with your MB-D10 grip.
As with the original, I find it somewhat difficult to get my fat fingers underneath the batteries to remove them for recharging. Hopefully either things will loosen slightly with use, or I'll just get better at it.
