Rebecca W : I just purchased this through Amazon and received Thursday, I think. I bought it to DOWNLOAD TO MY PC, songs that I sing for my "part" leader in our Barbershop Chorus. How do I do that? I do not see instructions for that in the instruction sheet. Can you help me?ANDREW R : This cable connects an audio output (like a headphone jack) to an audio input (like a microphone jack). To transfer audio recordings using this cable you will need to playback the recording from your source (like a digital recorder) and record the playback on the your computer with this cable connecting the two devices. This cable does not transfer digital files.

Were you happy with it?ERIC H : This cord works well enough, certainly better than two other cords I tried, but volume levels of the source are still critical and hard to guess. When the source volume is too high the recording is distorted, when the source volume is too low the volume during playback has to be turned up which also increases the background noise. So while I can recommend the Olympus KA-333 Compaticord as the best cord of its kind, the sort of copy/recording that it is designed and used for still takes quite a bit of fussing around to get an acceptable sound level throughout a recording without distortion.TOM G : Works great once you get the output sound levels to match your input (mic or line).JOE R : To be honest, I bought it in an attempt to connect a digital recorder that was not compatable with a computer input and my understanding of the KA-333 was that I would at least be able to transfer data or sound recording. However, it did not seem to do anything.
