Nako R : im looking for battery charger for my digital camera Olimpus FE-320 and Megapixel 8.0 and the battery Model LI-42B and Battery pack 3.7 740mAh and 80109BAW ?CHARLES ROBERT G : Strange as it may sound, we have been so busy we have not used it yet.MARK A : I found a Promaster XtraPower Traveler+ lithium ion rapid battery charger- states "states fits most Olympus and Sanyo digital camera batteries" code 3042 on the box- it charges several sizes, and does great with the LI 42B, not sure if you will find it, but there may be others like it- that is a Sanyo made battery I believe, so you may find something that way too- hope that helpsJOSEPH H : Good battery for its size. I've got two to be sure I have a spare charged and ready.
LLOYD L : The label on the battery I wish to replace is identical with the illustrated one except for the bottom number which reads 71240BAM compared to the illustrated 80121BAJ.
Does this make any difference?MOACIR A. A : If both batteries have the same size, reference (as in S/N or Product number), polarity, voltage and all the other "must haves" there are no differences.NEMAT T : I have 2 batteries. One that came with the camera and an extra (comes in handy). I believe they are simply date (+ other factory) codes, as one of the batteries I have has a date followed by three letters; the other appears to be a random set of letters & numbers. I hope that helps.MARK A : I have both and they don't perform any differently on my SW790 camera- I think that Olympus discontinued the battery for a while- not available even from their website- then they produced an audio recorder and video device which used the Li-42B, so I picked another one up. It seems to hold a charge very well if not better than my original.LARRY E : I belive that number is different on each battery as both of the 2 I have are diiferent numbers. Ithink that may a batch number or each number different to discourage knock offs.
Shopper : How many years guarantee?MARK A : I could not find warranty info on Olympus' website, but from personal experience, I bought the 790 SW camera in 2007 and the battery lasted appx. 4years retaining full charge, and then seemed to fade, so I purchased a new one, and the original holds enough charge to work great as a backup.LINDA S : I believe it was a year, but I don't have the paperwork any longer., so I can't be sure of the warranty. What I can tell you is I bought it Sept. 18, 2010, and I still have it and it is still holding a good long charge. I use it in my Olympus Stylus 720SW.LARRY E : The standard one year warranty applies.JOSEPH H : I don't know about the life guarantee on the LI-42B battery, but I've had two of the batteries for the past year and a half with no problems with either. They both continue to hold a charge as advertised. Most importantly, the one I have charged as a spare holds that charge when not in use for a long time.
