Good invest

I just tried the Olympus mirrorless system and don't wanna pay too much for the expensive micro lens, so I bought it. I use the M.Zuiko 40-150mm 1:4-5.6 lens with it, the result is more than I can expected. The plastic material works well and stay firm enough on the lens. Highly recommend.

Beware

Although the converter said that it fits several lenses, an adaptor is necessary and is unavailable for the 14-55mm lens. I returned it twice until someone realized that the adaptor was not supposed to be in the box. I have been unable to find the adaptor and cancelled the order. Don't know how it works because I was unable to use it.

Great value

This is a neat little extension that clips on to the end of the kit standard and telephoto zoom. As they recommend, it's best used at the bigger end of the zoom, with better results on the telephoto, where it increases close up significantly. See http://www.ephotozine.com/article/olympus-pen-converter-lenses-tested-16886 for pics and review. As it's pretty much like a filter, I'm assuming it could go on other lenses with an adapter, but I haven't been able to test that. It does have a very narrow focal range so you'll find you have to move the camera back and forth a bit from your subject to get it in focus, which isn't usually a problem with macro shots anyway. Obviously no match for an actually macro lens, but given it's cheap as chips and adds on to your existing kit (and there's no Olympus macro yet), it's a good buy.

Cheap Plastic Feel

Like everything else they put out for the Pen series, Cheap plastic feel, and Works ok. Going to end up with a Nikon soon due to the poor build quality of M.Zuiko lens for Micro 4/3. Also Olympus has a terrible warranty for M.Zuiko Lenses for micro 4/3. The Pen Cameras are great , but the lenses made for it by Olympus/Zuiko lack seriously when it comes to build quality.
