I use this product to record church council meetings so I can then type them up for the church newsletter. I am also a court reporter working in a judicial district with four counties, four courthouses, each with distinctive acoustics. This works well as a back up in a pinch from my 4-track equipment and is also useful in chambers settings.It is easy to use and plugs right into your computer with the built-in USB.

Great for playback chores. Lists and quick lecture recording easy. Never lose a record you want to keep.

This was a replacement for a WS-400 that met its demise in a washing machine. Same form factor, except more memory and a lower price. Not good for outdoor recording on windy days, since it picks up lots of wind noise. But at a digital notetaker for reporters, its hard to beat these recorders.

I have bought first time this product to use for record conversations and lectures. It is realy a nice compact and very good quality product on a very reasonable price.
