Questions & Answers

Shopper : owners operating manual for this lens? I just bought one &it came w/out lens bag or operating instructions!?RANDALL B : Mine came with both. The operating instructions are not much but, the lens bag is definitely worth having. If your ordered from Adorama call customer service.
DONALD P : Does this lens autofocus on the GH2? It SEEMS like it from the description, but not sure. Also, if autofocus works, is it quiet like the Panasonic 14-140mm?EDWARD H : I am using this on the GX1 with the adapter for 4/3 to micro 4/3 and the autofocus works well in daylight but is slow and "searching" in dim light. I can tell you that this is truely a silent (dead quiet!) autofocus and an impressive lens but I do not yet have enough experience with it to say much more.KEITH H : This lens does autofocus on the GH2 and is a nice lens, producing very good photos. However, it is slow and noisy. Also, it requires an adapter because it is 4/3 format, not micro4/3. Hope that helps.RANDALL B : Yes, this lens will autofocus and is very quiet. Works great on the GH2.

About Panasonic 14-150mm

The Panasonic 14-150mm f/3.5-5.6 Leica D Vario-Elmar Aspherical MEGA O.I.S. Lens is an interchangeable large-diameter 10.7x telephoto zoom lens, developed by Leica exclusively for digital SLR cameras. It follows the Four Thirds Standard, which also makes it compatible with other brands that use this same format.

By incorporating the MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) feature and 4 aspherical and 1 ED element, this lens makes it possible to capture clear, sharp images, edge to edge, even in macro shooting or low-lit situations. This provides users with a wide range of shooting flexibility.

This Leica D lens also features Extra Silent Motor (XSM) technology, which assures quick, quiet, accurate auto focusing control. This system's high torque provides exceptional responsiveness, accuracy and focusing stability. This type of motor is ideal for the auto focusing system in a super-telephoto zoom camera.
