The more I use the Panasonic DMC-ZR3 camera the more I like it. For example, a few days ago I was taking some very up close pictures of a project I was working on. The project required the manipulation of some very small wires. (I had to use a magnifying glass to work with the wires.) I decided to take photos of various steps in the project. I really didn't think the photos would turn out, but I was actually shocked at how clear and detailed they looked. (And This was indoors, at night, with relatively low light.) The video quality is also quite good for such a small camera. The ability to zoom in and out while recording video is a feature I especially like about this camera. I highly recommend this camera!

The camera is no more hard to handle than any other point and shoot. However, it seems to be on the slippery side. I wish it had some friction points to aid in handling. The locations of the shutter release button and the function, mode dial should be reversed

The only negative I can see is that the flash could be stronger. For a small camera, that's not an unusual negative though.

I bought this camera primarily as a backup/everyday camera. I own a DSLR, but I like to have a camera with me most of the time, and this camera shoots great pics and video.

I have three young children, so I spend most of my time with a camera in my hand. This camera is compact and good looking. It has great zoom and very easy to use. I leave it on auto most of the time, but I plan on learning to use more of the cameras different functions. Only problem with this camera is I wish pictures were a little brighter in low light areas.

I haven't had this camera long enough to take a large variety of pictures, but so far any that I've taken are great. You definitely have to have a memory card because without you can only store about 7 pictures. Looking forward to using it for an upcoming concert and can't wait for the warmer weather/summertime to use it more!
