Works great with K5!
Though the listing doesn't mention this working for the Pentax K5, it does work. Now I can do some video work with The cord isn't super long, but long enough for my purposes. My camera auto-detects when it's plugged in and goes to it instead of the battery for power.

Works Well
Well built. Too Bad I have to buy a different one every time I upgrade my Pentax Camera, They keep changing the voltage and connector.Cheaper if you buy this from [...] than Adorama, [...].

Valuable addition to your digital camera
The AC adaptor for the Pentax K10D is a valuable addition. There are various times in which you should have the camera getting its power from your wall socket and not wasting the camera's internal battery power. For example, if you download photos directly from the camera onto a computer or onto a TV screen, you'd be better off using the adaptor. Or, say that you are sitting at a desk reading through the manual and experimenting with the camera--might as well not use up the battery.
