A must when using large lens like 70-200mm f2.8 for gripping. First run had electronics anomalies or contacts were unreliable.

Doubles battery life & improves handling

Adds extra controls that make shooting vertical shots much easier. Battery life is effectively doubled. I wish it has a strap lug on one end for hanging the camera vertically with the neck strap.

Great for Larger Hands!

There an issue when you have batteries in both camera and grip, you'll get low battery when one gets run down, doesn't autoswitch. You have to turn camera off-on. Love the feel and contour. Still happy after two years!
