Shopper : Will it work on the Pentax K-70?KEVIN V : No. K70 only fits the Li battery.GARY R : No it won't. I looked up the D-BH109 battery holder and there is no mention of K-70 compatibility.PAUL D : Not sure if it will work in the K-70 but it works in my K-50. Tony T : What type of warranty comes with this new battery?JAMES S : I don't recall any mention of a warranty, nor can I find one on searching now. You realize this is just a holder to put AA lithium batteries in your K-R or K-30, right? It is not a battery in and of itself. Also, I discovered the hard way that it's a bad idea to carry the thing loaded in your bag. If anything metal touches the connectors those AA batteries get very, very hot, and very very ruined.JAMES M : This unit works great it is good to be able to change batteries in the field when you run out od rechargeable batteries.GREGORY S : This is a battery holder, not a battery. I don't remember if it had a warranty, or the length of the warranty. It is well made and I have never had trouble with it since I bought it several years ago.

Get the 8x Energizer premium batteries, and I guarantee you that they'll "out-live" the rechargeable battery pack! In fact, I bought a couple of these! I run Duracell 2400 mAh rechargeables and would not recommend less mAh. It last almost as long as the factory pack battery. But the beauty of it is even if I run through both, I can still purchase AA's anywhere if needed. I also rotate it with the factory pack to keep both freshly charged and ready to go. Some may say if your going the run rechargeable AA's, why not just get an extra factory battery pack. You possibly could get by doing that, but if I run through both your DOA, I'm not. They last long as well since there is no LCD it is through the lens. LCD, as you know is mostly for play back or info. The most important must have with Pentax Kr. I have the power
NiMH batteries help to extend life significantly can also use non-rechargeable AA's in a pinch extending life indefinitely

My battery backup
I only use for short shoots if my lithium battery is out. DSLR will drain your standard batteries very quickly. I have no problems of it fitting into my camera body which is a Pentax K-50 DSLR

Pentax Battery Holder-I have Three K-50 Camers and now have Three Pentax Holders which are more expensive,but alot better than the cheap ones. Order cam thru Fine.

Works ad advertised
I chose the Pentax AA adapter over the 3rd party offerings due to the construction using metal as apposed to all plastic versions which while them being less costly I cannot afford to have this fail as I am often in remote areas where access to to power isn't available or intermittent at best. I make a fair part of my living as a travel/nature photographer (landscapes and such) so durability is very important. It works as advertised and fits without and binding or sloppiness while in the camera. In a nutshell great option for me and others in a like situation.

Use Rechargables
This is worth the extra cost over the non-OEM ones. Lots of metal. Also I would rather use rechargable AA batteries.

Great Battery Holder for K30
I used with Sanyo re-chargeable battries every day in Disney Parks. Kept Camera Battery for backup. No Problem in K30 camera. Though Sanyo Re-chargable battries lasts only around 500 shots no video.

BATTERY HOLDER A LIFESAVER!
I love my Pentax K30 for many reasons but one in particular is the ability to use regular batteries when the proprietary battery is dead. I have this battery holder preloaded with regular batteries so I can just drop them in and keep shooting!

Works Exactly As It Should
I by far prefer this insert with LITHIUM AA batteries to the rechargeable lithium that came with the K-30. It is a seamless drop-in changeover from the stock battery. Of course having been a Pentax devotee since 1973 - through a dozen film and digital SLR's - and all my lens collections still working on all dozen bodies ...........plus great photographs.............. Heck - WHAT MORE CAN I SAY?

Nothing like having AA battery backup. Never a worry about dead batteries with this little gizmo. This one appears well made, good quality contacts, works great. Kudos to Pentax for a superb design idea. Makes the other guys look bad, for sure.

good backup choice
Glad I got this. I forgot to charge my battery the day before a shoot, and I was able to pop in 4 AA batteries and continue as if nothing was wrong.

Optional Equipment!
This item fits, as expected. This is sold as "optional equipment". I was not aware of this until the Pentax Rep informed me. It's always best to have some kind of battery "back-up".

Works great!
I find myself using the AA holder more than the Lithium battery that came with my camera, the AA's last longer! Nice to have the option, as power to recharge isn't always readily available, and to have extra charge along if I am in the middle of photographing my two beautiful grand-daughters!
