Broke my K-X in an accident -- The K-R was an easy tranistion, most things the same, some things better - Like the focus points appearing in the view finder, the larger LCD screen - - Great that Adorama carries the full Pentax DSLR line, lots of places don't have these great Pentax line

can not assign green button to image stabilizatoin setting at many shutter speeds lense combos I can get better handheld's without it but have practiced this for 30 yr. between hart beats. still need to test this in video mode

I up graded from Pentax K-200 and saw a dramatic increase in quality of images. the Live view was helpful. Love the way menus and options are available and all the choices that allow creative spirit to flourish.
