I would recomend buying this one.

I use the dcr 2025 for shooting soccer pics and brings in the action closer. There is a difference in pic quality (better than any other telephoto conversion ). I like the hood that came with the lense.

Good product- Raynox DCR-2025, Pro 2.2x

Optical quality is very good- no light loss. However, it's not super convenient to add/detach for frequent use.

About Raynox DCR-2025

The model DCR-2025PRO high definition telephoto lens is made of highindex optical glass elements, and it's designed with new designing concept of two-group/four-element formula to obtain the maximum resolution power of 260 lines/mm resolution power at center (MTF30%), while it has low dispersion.

There will be no reduction of light value (F.Number) when this conversion lens is attached on the camera's lens.

By using a suitable adapter and/or holder, the DCR-2025PRO lens can be used with the appropriate digital still camera or digital camcorder, effectively.

The DCR-2025PRO lens is originally designed to produce optimum image quality when used with a camera/camcorder incorporated with 8-time or higher zoom lens.However, depending upon the matching with the type of camera lens it may produces a superb image quality with a zoom lens less than 8-time ratio suchas 4 times or 6 times.
