Works like a champ!
Used this to shoot the Northern Lights in Iceland in late February. Winter, freezing temps., wind that could blow you over. Never a problem, never a failure. Got some wonderful pics.
Used a remote last year to shoot fireworks. Died after ten minutes. Battery drained.

Got the remote to shoot star trails for a project in my wife's astronomy course. Great results. Simple, foolproof design.

Arrived quickly after order. Does what it says but for over a $100 with tax ... it is expensive for the function provided. I didn't have a choice though ... needed for a photography class and I didn't want to take a chance with other 3rd party remote cables that are cheaper.

Having the long cord makes this remote worth the extra $$ it costs. Works well for my use.

Not for all Sony aDSLRs
Description states "Sony Alpha etc." However it can not be used with the a390 as there is no connection on the camera to install it.

This remote fits my Sony a300 perfectly! I am a high school yearbook teacher and we use it for school photos and I use it at home for "trying" to take photos of the moon and wildlife photography and taking photos of my two rambunctious great nieces! It is holding up great!

Sony Alpha Remote Commander
This product was all that I expected. It allows me to be far enough away from my camera so I can work with my subject. It's great for pet photography. It's a quality product and the price is right.

I would recommend this product!
Product is great to use to avoid camera shake...plus...with the long cord, you're able to set-up your camera near a bird feeder and fire the lens from a great hiding place 16 feet away!

Works great. I really didn't need this longer cord size after all but other than that, no qualms about the product.

Incredible!
This remote has made such a world of difference in my wildlife photography - I simply can't say enough. I had no trouble figuring out how to use it and already can't imagine being without it!
