Questions about this item:

David J  Hello, Does the Sony LCS-BP2 Backpack Carrying Case fit an A77+Vertical Battery Grip? If it does not fit then what small bag do you recommend that will fit an A77 with a battery grip attached. Thanks, David Johnson
CHRISTOPHER M  Good question. I also bought this for my Sony A77. It does fit in there nicely. I don't currently own the vertical grip (but I've been tempted to get one). I think the current side loaded slot that's meant for the camera will only fit the A77 (w/o the vert. grip). BUT the pack's internal compartments walls are made using velcro strips along the edges, so you do have the option of moving some of the 'walls' around to create different sized chambers. As a result you could probably move the compartments around to accommodate the A77 + vertical grip pretty easily, but it would be at the cost of making one of the other 'cubbies' smaller which might reduce your lens capacity by that 1 spot. I LOVE my LCSBP2 backpack. I've owned a lot of packs in my life (not just camera related) and I'd rank this very highly in terms of build quality and uniqueness. The different strap options are really clever (as is the way you store the unused straps). Another clutch figure in the sheath that you can pull out to cover the whole bag if the weather were to get bad. The pack is a nice size..very portable. But if you have a lot of lenses you might start to run out of space because there isn't a ton of room in such a compact design. I currently have the A77, External Flash, and Shotgun mic stored inside which leaves about 3 'cube' spots remaining for extra lenses. The top pouch (accessed from the top of the pack) stores my extra battery/charger/sd cards, etc. Please post if you have success with the A77 + vert grip with this pack, as I would also be interested to know because the Vert Grip might be in my future too. -chris
