i just installed the battery after recharging it into my sony T-70, and after that my display was gone, though camera was working, i still click photos but can't see them.. if it falls from the height of 2 or 3 feets, it will breakdown, i experienced it.. but sony mentioned more height..

This has been a great camera for me. The picture quality has always been great, and i can take lots of pictures in between charges with the included battery pack. I would say that image quality is better outdoors than indoors, even in high light indoor shooting. Tons of features on this camera, including smile shutter which i use alot!

This was a great little camera until Sony's infamous autofocus problem started. I liked its compact size, it looked cool, and took pretty good pictures for a point & shoot camera. Then about 2 years after we bought it the autofocus would start vibrating the whole camera and would be unusable for short time. The camera would fix itself and all would be ok for a while. Now problem has become more severe, rendering the camera almost unusable. Sony is fixing their other models with the same problem, why not this one? I know after this I won't be replacing it with another Sony camera.

Like the other review, my camera has start vibrating excessively and is not able to focus shots. Much like the problem for the T20 Camera. Sad as I really really like this camera.

I have really loved this camera, it always took nice pics and videos but a week ago started vibrating and now I have read it's a common problem. Sony will provide free repair until July 17, 2011 for the DSC-T20 that has the exact issue but not the DSC-T70? I'm not understanding .

I am sooo disappointed on this camera, which started experiencing internal vibration (like a cell phone) after 1.5 years of good use and care. Sony will not fix it, it is only fixing the same problem but for the T20, so I guess I will have to find myself a new camera, possibly a Canon. It was a great camera before it started with the vibration problem... how sad...
