Bought my camera brand NEW two months later touch screen froze up and couldnt even use my camera. ALL of my sony products laptop, camera, and camcorder broke within 2 years of light use. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SONY

This is the fourth Sony digital camera, I bought; the first one I got was five years ago and was the DSC-T7 (the slimmest design of Sony), which is still functional. I like Sony Cameras, their performance is good, they are very reliable, and have all the great features, you would expect to see.

Very good pictures in low light. Incredible panoramic pictures. 10 photos per sec is very useful. I never miss a nice portrait. Very good menu, easy to use. I carry it every where.

This camera is at least 3x times smaller than it looks in the pictures and it is half the size of the Sony wx1 cybershot. This camera quality is amazing with the sweep panorama you can get people in the picture who are walking just once when you take it not like twice or something. But overall the best camera ever

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T30 - bought it over 2 years ago. We operate a travel agency and I always create a "memories" DVD video of our major cruises for our customers. I used to carry a cam-corder and a large camera to get the images and videos for this - got my Cyber-Shot and it does it all far better than I ever could before AND IT FITS IN MY POCKET! Planning on upgrading to the newer Cyber-Shot soon.

The panorama feature is great, it'a good camera to take pictures at nigth (I own a DSC-W90 and you can tell the difference in the pictures) you only change some setting and you can take some nice pictures even with movement. The touch screen and menus are easy to manipulate. This camera takes 10 pictures per second in Burst mode and all the pictures look nice and clear (nice feature). The camera is thin and small it will fit any pocket. You can also write over the pictures, insert animations (hearts, stars, flowers crowns etc.) add frames, crop, fix red eye pictures with the build in editing tool The only thing I don't like about this camera is it doen't take pictures in Black & White or Sephia, I can not believe SONY forgot to put this feature in the camera.

"Really Good photos. The auto mode does a really good job but still is subject to some graininess on your photos every now and then (just take another picture). The camera is not hard to use but if your not familiar with touchscreen it might take some time getting use to but then again that just like every electronic device that we buy. The regular SanDisk cards really make the HD Video choppy because they cant handle the data transfer of the video when their is movement. I took a chance on this camera after reading a couple less than stellar reviews on it. The touch screen works great for me and out of 1000 pics taken on a trip to Mexico i would say about 10 came out a bit blurry. Most action shots came out great. This thing turns on sooo fast and is ready to take great quick photos. I would buy this over in a second. Go to Best Buy and have them price match to get the best price and great support.

I bought this camera on a recent trip to Japan. I was not going to at first, I was looking for an SLR, but my girlfriend suggested it for all the trips we take. A small camera that does it all. I used it for over a week and took over 600 pictures, movies, and panoramic shots. One or two came out bad, but that was operator error! This little camera was a gem. The only drawback for me was the touch screen controls, my fingers are large, so I would touch more than one control button at a time, or touch one when I didn't mean to. This changed as I got used to the camera and the pictures I brought home are more then worth the price of the camera. I kept it on the 10m setting ant with the 16meg card, I didn't even come close to filling it up. I am very pleased with it and I recommend it to anyone from novice on up.

Frist attempt to order this camera on Sony site but experienced very bad service. The camera is not available but I receive my camera from another internet site in two days without problems. Checked out the camera and it has many good functions. I am using the memory stick Pro HG duo (8 G) and I keep getting an error message when I turn it on. "The memory stick may not record or play". This occurrs every time I turn on the camera. The stick works good but I keep getting this error. I used the same stick in another sony camera and it works fine. I called sony tech help and that was a waste of time. I also took it to the sony repair facility and they had the same experience when using the Pro HG stick. They wanted me to leave my camera but I needed it for my trip. I went to the store and bought a slow speed 8 G stick and found that it works good with the camera (NO ERROR MESSAGE). I guess the camera with all its high tech functions does not work with the high speed Pro HG stick. Do not but this camera until they fix this problem. Not worth the money.
