Color correction with Color Efex Pro Easy to use. Silver Efex Pro made me enjoy converting to B&W. Working direct in Lightroom makes life a little easier. The Support has been good and friendly. As a packaged collection I find that the Product keys were too many and to big. One key for the collection should suffice.

Like I said, I'm just starting to use this product. It is for Light Room but I would also like the version that would work for Photoshop also but that version is to expensive. So I use it after I do my photoshop work if needed and if I don't need photoshop then it is great for that purpose. All in all I like the versatility of the different programs that are in this collection.

Once I realized that I needed to go to the NIK site and download the lastest version, the installation and setup process went smooth. I am only starting to use this software, and already I find that it exceeds my expectations. I like the previews of some presets on the left side. I just pick one, and then customize.

The only knock I can give this excellent suite of software is that there are variations across the suite that, while not confusing, can be disappointing. Like whether you can group control points, or not. Also, if you like to use more than one of the apps in the suite, you must return to Lightroom and relaunch the other app.

Be aware that you can't use all of the programs' editing on a single image. You have to close out each individual program edit and combine all of the edits separately in Photoshop layers. Grrrr!

I use the suite along with capture nx2, I have to save the files as TIF so I can do anything with them , my typical flow is : convert the raw with capture nx2, save as tif use color efex pro to add filters pass through define 2.0 to reduce noise if needed use capture nx2 to convert to jpg and resize Silver efex does wonderful b&w conversions the learning curve is nice and easy

I have used this package for much of my photographic work, which includes everything from a trip to the Colorado region to photographs of a string ensemble. However, I recently learned that Nik has released a new version of Color Efex and I am sorely tempted to buy it--I feel as if this package is already outdated. But the new package is rather pricey. For a bargain, though, or for a starter package of software, this package can't be beat.

I wish that the Nik complete collection for Lightroom had the ability to edit the same copy of the original for Dfine,Viveza,sharpener,color efx,all on the same image at the same time. Instead I have multiple tiffs of one edit at a time. It's very disappointing.

Ability to make global adjustments then refine with selected adjustments. Dim or brighten a light is just one of the many abilities. Silver Efex Pro 2 is amazing B/W program. Integrated with Lightroom3 making Photoshop CS5 unnecessary on limited budget.

By far in most of my images my workflow is limited to Camera Raw and Nik complete suite, I only go to Photoshop for cloning and when difficult and precise selections are needed. The time that this software save you is amazing. My only problem is the guilty feeling I feel when people are impressed with some of my results and I don't tell them how easy was that to achieve with this powerful and easy to use software.

I really love Nik's products. The versatility of all of their plugins makes this suite a must have. With the control points, you can easily achieve the effect you want right inside of the plugin, rather than needing many tweeks with photoshop or lightroom. I especially love HDREfex & SilverEfex!
