mobdiv m : May these be operated wireless?DAVID M : I have used them both with and without a wireless device. Depending on what Camera you're operating, they should work with both the camera flash in commander mode, or with an attached wireless transmitter. I have never had to "slave" them to my camera. They are great to travel with, light weight and versatile. For the price, you won't find a better deal.ANDREW R : The S-45M strobe can be fired 3 ways, by synch cord, by built in slave or by the test button for pre-visualization. Wireless triggers may used if connected to the sync port using the appropriate sync cable. Normally these would be used in the "slave" mode in which they are triggered by other flash units.
Joe J : Do these have on off switches on the holder?ANDREW R : Unfortunately no, the lamp holders are not equipped with on-off switches.
Joe J : what is the watt second output of these? IE - at 6' what F stop will they produce at 200 ISO?ANDREW R : These units output 45w/s (Guide Number 90 Feet, ISO 100).
