I bought two of these for my students thinking it would be harder for them to lose the components if there was only one component. One didn't work. it would charge but not fire until you flicked the off switch and it would fire while it turned off. The other has a refresh rate of more like 15 to 20 seconds than the 7 seconds it advertises. Sorta useless when you're trying to do a photo shoot. And the little blinky light thing doesn't really tell you when it's ready. It blinks slowly at first and then starts to speed up and keeps speeding up a bit but never goes solid, just sorta blinks along pretty quickly with no difference between "Not quite ready" and "hey, you can finally trigger me".

I purchased this flashshoe transmitter for use with my JTL lighting system. It's about as straight forward as it gets. It's very reliable and flashes all my strobes as it's supposed to...and who can beat the price....Lot's of bang for the buck!!!! It's better than I expected.

Fire all your Versalights simultaneously without cords or loosely fitted slaves. This transmitter fires the second you trip the shutter to set off your Monolights. No more broken synch cords or finding out after the shot your PC cord fell out!
