JTL Good for the money

Have used several of the JTL stands and all have worked without any problems. Use them in my studio and have for years, needed a couple of light and inexpensive stands to travel with and they worked out just great. No worries if one gets stolen or breaks they can be replaced inexpensively un like high price stands and these won't break the pocket book.

Decent stand for the price

This stand won't blow anyone away, but for the price, it's a good stand. If you need a lightweight stand on a budget, this is a fine choice.

Good for the money

I own 8 JTL light stands and they are light and do what they are needed to do, hold lights. I have been using them for 12 years now and they have held up great, they have been used on location and in the studio. Why pay 100's for one "brand" name when you can have 3 for that price...

Functional

Simple stand, easy to use. I would not use this stand outdoors but in controlled conditions it gets the job done. I am not sure if I would trust it to hold a larger strobe.

It's a stand. It does the job.

It does the job, better quality than I expected for the price, but still easy to accidentally tip over.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Can I use this with the light that comes with the Smith Victor Imagemaker?
MARK S  I am not familiar with the Smith Victor Imagemaker. I looked it up on Google. It seems to me that you could use it to hold a small light. Sorry, I cannot provide a better answer. I like the light stand and use it very frequently to hold a 24x24 soft box with a Nikon SB-600 speed light.
