I can't really review the item that is described (110v 75w), because the item I received is a 120v 100w, which is not what my strobe fixture called for.

I just opened a new business called, 'I Matter Photography'\, Inc" It is more of a ministry really so I won't make much money. Everything I have (equipment) has been paid for with my own money and what little savings I had. My husband wouldn't let me go into debt to start this business so I've scrimped and saved for years to start it. Imagine how frustrating it was to finish up a photo shoot and then drop the light breaking the bulb then discovering I didn't have a replacement bulb. Then realizing that I had another shoot next week and must have my strobes. I ordered replacements from Adorama and they showed up in plenty of time for the next photo shoot. I'm hooked! When you need quality at an affordable price you can always count on Adorama!

I haven't had the light long enough to gauge lamp life, but it is a replacement for a modeling lamp that worked fine for about 3 years until I dropped the monolight with the modeling light on. (My fault.)

It's a light bulb. You give it power, it comes on. What more could you want? I will say that not only is this little light wicked bright, but it is wicked hot too. I can't leave the modeling lamp on for long without the heat melting the velcro adhesive holding my gels or grid in place. Other than that...it's a light bulb.
