The JVC GY-HM790U ProHD ENG / Studio Camera is a modular, 1/3" shoulder-mount video camera that comes with a Canon 14x zoom and is equally at home in the studio or in the field. Capable of recording 1080i/p, 720p 480i video to native MP4 or Final Cut Pro files for the most efficient workflow, the GY-HM790U also offers a full complement of broadcast features, including HD-SDI output, 4:2:2 sampling, timecode, genlock variable frame rates. Its ability to record to dual, hot-swappable SD/SDHC cards means affordable access to readily available media, which can be coupled with an optional SxS recorder for extended or backup capture.
