Excellent HD camcorder
This camcorder was a Christmas present. It is my first HD camcorder. I taped our family Christmas party using the highest video setting and showed it to everyone on my HDTV. The video quality was great, even in low light and even though it was the first use of the camcorder.
It was a snap to load the software onto my PC, and I downloaded the video and pictures I took in a matter of seconds.
The next day I taped our family bowling party. The video quality was excellent and the sound quality was much better than expected, considering no external mic.
So far, I love this camcorder. It is so easy to use, it is very small and light, and very easy to show videos on my HDTV (You must purchase a mini HDMI cable separately, it is not included). I have not used the auto record or time lapse options yet, but plan to in the near future. This is a great camcorder for recording personal and family events.
