I have multiple sets of these headphones, which are perfect for use with TV audio. I have gifted both my mother, and in-laws that are all in their 80's and are very satisfied with the performance. These are not for highly discriminating audio professionals, but for casual music listeners, they are very good as well. Since they use RF frequency broadcast at 900Mhz instead of blue-tooth, the range is much better, and you can have multiple sets recieve from one transmitter. They also use fairly standard AAA nicad batteries, if you ever need to replace them. Remember even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced. If you do need to replace them, remember to cut the plastic insulation off the bottom of the battery, so they look like the ones that JVC supplies, otherwise they will not work. Replacement EarPads are also available on Amazon or E-Bay. The auto tuning and volume controls work perfectly. You can also broadcast on different channels if you are using them on multiple devices.

I bought these headphones for my dad as a Christmas present. He is very hard of hearing and can not hear the tv without them. He has had several pairs of other brands. He believes these have the best range of any he has owned.
