I like the pack! For travel purposes this would be a great carry on w/your DSLR w/ medium lens, extra telephoto lens, flash unit and a small digital camcorder and your laptop! However this will not accommodate a large system w/ multiple lenses etc.

Not much of a good bag to carry photographic equipment. Can hardly fit a D40X with an 18-55 mm kit lens and the 55-200 lens with it. let alone any other lenses and flash unit and other stuff. HOwever very well padded and comfortable. Good for travelling light!

I use this product everyday. I love storing my laptop in this bag. Getting to my computer is easy and it's well protected. However, I don't like where the camera is stored. I have a Nikon D50 and store it on the bottom compartment. I find that it is very difficult to get the camera in and out of this spot. Also, it's a very tight fit. I would store it in the middle compartment, but then I would have nothing to hold it from sliding all over the place. I have been storing cords and power supplies in the middle compartment. I would recommend this bag if you don't need your camera everyday. I find that if I am going to be using my camera and taking it out on multiple occasions in any given day, then I pack it in my other bag. However, I love this bag for my computer and find it has been the best fit so far. Overall, it's very durable and I love the material it's made out of. I find that it's not very bulky either which is another plus when traveling on a daily basis with it. I hope my review helps you in making the decision to buy this product. Good luck and Enjoy!

Styling - Superb Design- Superb Ergonomics - Superb Even though I have to take the lens off my Nikon D2X I still use it when traveling. It is sleek and compact. it makes traveling with my other gear that much easier. Tremendous bulk reducer. I wish it was just 2 inches deeper to hold my D2X with the lens.

This is an out of the box pack. Doesn't look nor work like most of the other smaller packs on the market which are just micro copies of larger packs. It's left to right rather than verticle. I use it as a day bag mainly since my main gear needs two Pelican 1650's to haul. 10mm to 500mm For just scouting and light reporting, the Fuji 9000 is my glove compartment shooter, works fine. I also carry a couple strobes, battery packs (I'm a manufacturer - the Black boxes)spare CF;s, usual pens, reporter pad, meds, flashlight, tape recorder, press pass and cables, two phones and various adapters and gizmos. the covering catches dirt but cleans easily enough and smaller inserts section out the loose parts, very comfortable and well made.

Ergo-Tech, the seamless extension to your body
Kata collection of Ergo-Tech bags features a unique combination of cutting edge technologies (Flexi-Shield), materials (Elasto-Guard) and design which have been joined together to create this range of flexible dynamic bags that will adjust to the ever changing shapes and movements of the carrier's body, while also able to shift its shape to fit the variable equipment within.
Elasto-Guard
a specially developed material for the Ergo-Tech collection. This is a lamination which consists of the following 3 layers: 1. External layer - high resistance stretchable knit/weave PES/PA. 2. Middle layer - 1 to 3 mm closed-cell waterproof elastic foam padding. 3. Internal Layer - A. Soft, anti-scratch knit/weave PES/PA lining. Or B. Kata's "Yelloop" fabric which enables the attachment of dividers, and provides soft, anti-scratch cushioning.
Flexi-Shield
a technology specially developed for the Ergo-Tech collection. This high frequency molded flexible reinforcement appears in the form of ridges on the exterior of the safe guard zones for ultimate protection.
