Well designed backpack

I use this pack for casual day of shooting with my micro 4/3 or an SLR with extra lens and small flash plus the usual extras for cleaning. Room for a sandwich and lightweight rain jacket. Overall, this is a very well engineered and manufactured pack.

It has all I need

I took me a long time to find this bag, I ended buying some bags from [...] and returning them!I tried lowepro bags; in comparison to this bag they are useless! This bag has two separate storage; for camera and for personal stuff. it has enough protection and it is surprisingly light weight

Just the right size for me

I used this backpack for the first time on a NYC travel, there you walk a lot and this backpack was very confortable to use during all day long. I think for some people it might be small, because it has two main compartments, on the top it has a space to store thing like a digital camcorder and other smaller stuff and in the second part in the bottom it stores a DSLR camera and about 4 extra lenses. On the back it has a compartment that fits a 14 inches notebook, my laptop is an Acer with 14 inches that fits exactly on this pocket, so nothing larger than 14 inches will fit. So for me, it is in a exact size, if you have a laptop bigger than 14 inches I would recommend the kata DR-467 that can fit a 17 inches laptop, but it is a lot larger.

The Kata DR-466i Digital Rucksack features a unique TST RIB structural protection for two D/SLRs with mounted lens, 3-4 lenses, flash etc. + personal gear, laptop and small tripod. By removing the padded bottom camera insert you can easily convert this rucksack from a camera bag to a daypack when not shooting.

The main compartment holds a D/SLR in top grip position while the modular dividers system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories to suit your particular needs. The middle separating divider easily zips open for full bag access. The dedicated rear padded compartment will protect a laptop or hold paperwork. The large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional equipment and the internal pockets and mp3 player pouch will allow you to organize your personal effects as efficiently as your photographic gear.

Ample external pockets allow quick zippered access to supplies and a water bottle/ tripod support pocket pulls out from a side pocket. Included rain cover folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets.

When carrying, a chest belt and balancing waist strap are available for ultimate comfort and the rucksack is also compatible with the Kata Insertrolley if wheel along transportation is needed. EPH system compatibility allows you to attach either a torso pack or waist pack for additional carrying options.
