Description
The F-417 laptop case is designed for fieldwork, both a fully protective TST carrying solution, and a perfect workstation wherever you may be. An adjustable detachable hood will shade the LCD screen and elevation pads underneath the laptop provide extra cushioning and ventilation.
A removable partition allows you to divide the main compartment to store a mouse, a charger or an extra drive. Numerous padded pockets and organizers will store CD's floppy Discs, PDA, Cell-phone, Folders, Papers and other equipment. The F-417 features carry options: By hand with the patented Click handle, on your shoulder, or using the Insertrolley feature.
TST (Thermo Shield Technology) is a state of the art solution that gives perfect protection for the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "rib-shape" construction (Patent Pending) It is made of Super Nylon - a Mil-STD, double cord, water & dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric.
Underneath a cross-linked, closed cell PE + EVA shield is impact and shock protective while providing a comprehensive insulation against cold, heat & moisture. The internal padding provides the necessary cushioning & vibration reduction. The lining is Kata's unique Yelloop material which is fabricated especially for the anti-scratch and anti-static requirements while allowing divider attachment for internal partitioning.
