This is my second 1600W and I am a believer of this product. The lack of instructions about which of the two disks to use to install the software, or downloading a driver were frustrating, and caused delay in getting the printer to start printing.

In home use, low volume. The size is very good for an in home office. The print quality is good. Obviously, the toner cartridges are expensive , but that was expected. For a home office that has low volume, it's much better than an inkjet since the toner doesn't dry up.

Works great and the price is right. Manual says it is a Windows only printer which isn't true. With the proper driver downloaded your Mac OS X computers can use it just as easily as a Windows machine.

This unit only comes with 400 print starter cartridges. I ran out of black immediately. Standard toner cartridges have 1,500 print coverage and High-capacity cartridges cover 2,500 prints. So, make sure you have replacement cartridges or toner refills on hand.

The envelope would not print using Open Office. Figuring out how took calling the support folk. They were helpful and I think I've a resolution that will do; but NOT for heavy envelope users.

I have had good experience with Konica Minolta printers. This one appears particularly easy to refill with toner. Prints very well with crisp edges and lines. Great product!

After 4-5 years of being so pleased with my 1350W (still in use, elsewhere)I wanted one as reliable for this computer. Albeit techy-challenged (am of the older'n dirt generation) I had this 1600W set up, installed and printing within 3-4 hrs. of its arrival. My only challenge with it is me making a learning curve to print one page (vs. that entire document). That one is my brain, how it works and not this superb printer!

I like this product, performance and price are good, but because I can not be mailed back to China, because the return of Chinese costs much more expensive than to purchase this product in China, I really hope that there are ways to cheaper return China, will introduce a lot of Chinese friends concerned about your company products and services, thank you.

Well worth for the Money you paid for it. printer is Compact, very easy to use. In other hand Adoroma is just perfect place to buy, if you order from them you don't go wrong. Professional sells people, on time shipment, best price. I give Adoroma 7 star with out hesitation.

I use this printer for printing documents and also for creating colorful graphics that I print. The print quality is the BEST! BUT....the top tray where the paper exits the tray is so flimsy that it will definitely fall off very quickly and the machine is so noisy that it actually rocks as it "clunks" to warm up. I ended up putting a thick towel under it and that made it much quieter. My biggest disappointment is that I cannot print anything smaller than 8.5"x11" paper. I normally print a lot of 5.5"x8.5" I now have to tape 2 of them together so they will print.

I use this printer to print graphics and photos for leather projects. With what I do, I require lazer prints. The quality of the prints I get from this machine is the best I have found. The price of the toners is ridiculous! I do not use this printer for everyday use. I have another printer just for that, because of the cost of the replacement toners.

I just got it but thought I'd post so you know what wonderful customer service Konica provided me upon my set up. There are two metal type key looking gadgets that must be removed and they are suppose to be obvious because of a pullout wire but mine didn't have them so the tech helped me. I have never had that type of customer service in life... the nicest guy ever with all the knowledge....wow.

I purchased the Konica 1600W because of the positive reviews in my research and this printer has exceeded all my expectations!I am completely satisfied with this printer which I purchased at an incredible low price (best on the I-net) from Adorama. It shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. During set up, the Cd's which came with the printer showed "not compatible" with my PC so I made a QUICK call to Konica's customer service department. The tech was very helpful and friendly. He did all the work for me downloading the proper drivers for my application! Afterwards he even took the time to let me print out a few documents to make certain everything was working correctly. The time it took to do ALL of this was only 10 minutes or so. And this was from the very start of making my phone call! I am an older gentleman and this was the best experience with a customer service issue that I have had in my entire life! Hat's off to Konica . . . if only other companies knew the value of this kind of service . . . the world that we live in would be a much more enjoyale place! I use this laser printer for both my personal and business needs. I have printed hundreds of documents all with spot on colors and excellent resolution, with absolutely no problems at all! I would normally not take the time to write a review for a product . . . but the quality of the Konica 1600w magiccolor printer and the exceptional Konica customer service and support made me want to share this wonderful experience with others! WAY TO GO KONICA . . . job well done!

This is an amazing printer for the money. Colors are vibrant and sharp every time. We have used the Magicolor 1600, 1650EN and 1690MF and they all perform well. Al, our rep is a very good communicator and the order process could not be easier. And we love the free shipping.

Goes through toner a little faster than I was hoping, but the toner use is not bad at all. The starter toners lasted us between 3-6 months with general home use. It looks like the extra-capacity toners should last well over a year. Toners are expensive (between 60-70 each), but it will be nice not having to worry about it for 1-2 years. Print time is pretty slow but that's not an issue for me.

Great value. I print a lot of documents for personal use and am very pleased with it. I wish they included a printed manual rather than having it on disk, although this, unfortunately is common these days.

This printer continues to disappoint. I've had it for six months and after two months the roller had a melted spot that left marks on all prints. It has since been replaced but now the fuser doesn't fuse the toner to the page. We'll see how this repair goes...

We purchased this to replace our dying bubble jet printer. It works great for most print jobs. It is not a photo printer, but neither was the bubble jet. We have found it cheaper just to send it via the internet to a photo printing company. This printer is great for office type documents and quick printing from web pages.

I am a graphic artist, and I print small runs of labels, tickets, postcards, signs, passes, etc. My old laser printer died, so I took a chance on this because of the price. It has been great. Card stock feeds and prints, and the color images on that are better than my Epson Photo 1400, not to mention water- and smear-proof and more fade-resistant. And it's way faster. I use it for my personal photos, too. It's that good. Black toner ran out after about 400 pages. I bought another one of these printers because the whole printer is cheaper than a set of toner cartridges ($270). The fuser ($109)and the drum ($89)snap in and out just like the toner cartridges, so if you need a new fuser (like I did after I accidentally loaded a piece of sign vinyl upside down) {yes it prints on that too} Just swap it out from the spare printer and keep going. Maybe I should get a third one.

Liked the pricing of printer and that re-manufactured toner cartridges are available. With a bit of shopping you can find a 4 pack of KCYM high capacity toner cartridges for under 140.00 dollars. Have been using Konica Minolta 2400 and 2450 for years and like the brand the 1600 is the net evolution in home printing.

This is a great printer for the price. The starter toners are too small and the replacements are somewhat expensive. The starter black toner gave us about 300 pages of use. One piece of advice: disable the software option to stop printing when the toner is out. The software says that the toner is out, but we have found that you can still print for a long time after the toner is supposedly empty.

Out of the box it worked, but the print quality is less than desirable, especially for any prints with graphics or pictures. Within 1 week the page prints had streaks; blue & yellow. Spent $200 on new print cartridges and the problem almost went away, but not entirely. Within 2 months, the fuser roller began depositing black streaks down the middle of the page. [...]

This printer powers down into a static mode as if turned off...however, if you send another print job to it you'll discover that it powers up quickly and does the print job. I've been very satisfied so far with this product.
