I purchased both the 16Gig and 32Gig of the Kingston 600x. The price was great but when I tried them out they seemed very slow. I benchmarked them using a 7D for 15sec with Raw+JPG. These only got 28 frames. Sandisk Extreme III got 32 frames. Extreme IV got 38 frames. The Kingston should have been much faster but they are slower than cards rated less than half their speed. I also did the test with a 5dII and 50D with similar results. However I must say Adorama was great about returning them. ...View full Review
I purchased both the 16Gig and 32Gig of the Kingston 600x. The price was great but when I tried them out they seemed very slow. I benchmarked them using a 7D for 15sec with Raw+JPG. I also did the test with a 5dII and 50D with similar results. However I must say Adorama was great about returning them. My guess is the UDMA mode was not working with my Canon cameras. But they are useless since that was what I purchased them for. I'm going back to Sandisk.

Perfect on Canon 5D Mk1. Shows 860 picture in raw.
I do alot of studio and sports photography. Upload and down load are fast. I have used Kingston for years and my first cars is still working.
I've taken hundreds of thousands of photos on this model of card, and they work fine. Never had one fail.
I shoot a lot of bracketed shots with my Canon 50D and use the Kingston CF16GB (or other Kingston card sizes) exclusively. They process my RAW files quickly. Never had a single problem with them in the past five years and shooting hundreds of shots each outing.
I bought a used Canon EOS 40D, and needed a compact flash card. This 16GB card works just fine!
I have about 8 of the Kingston 16 GB CF cards. Never had a problem.
These cards...seem....to be a great value. And they are as long as you dont try to stick them in a D4s. After going back n forth with Kingston regarding them "supposed to" work with the d4s, and them sending me two new ones...that also dont work...I wrote this.
I do not shoot in massive bursts. If I did I might consider a faster card. Have had many Kingston cards without any problems and I take approximately 64,000 images a year.
I use this card with my D2X and D200 cameras. They work great and never had any problems with them.
I have bought quite a few of Kingston 16GB CFC's and fpund them to be reliable. I like this size for the photos I am taking. I have about 8 of these 16GB cards. I prefer this size since I feel if I were to purchase a really large capicity CFC, then if something should happen to the card , it would be a big loss.
