Looks can be deceiving

Just an ordinary looking thumb drive but this thing not only has capacity but blazing speed. It even seems faster when plugged into a 2.0 port. But in a 3.0 port on my MacBook Pro with a SSD files move lighting fast between the two. I've even stored Lightroom catalogs on it and when they are open there is no "Image Loading" messages while working with this thumb drive.
