In many cases I deliver photos to clients on thumbdrives through the mail. This product is inexpensive, but looks great unlike many others. It is very compact. It is usb 2.0, so it's not the fastest on the market, but I definitely feel its the best bang for the buck.

When I originally purchased this product, it was the gold appeal which lured my eyes. When I got the product, it looked even better directly in front of my eyes rather than in an online catalog. However that appeal faded away quickly. There are now scratches on the part of the Flash drive that connects to the USB plug. The USB mounting inside my computer is what scratched it. The Kingston device is built with such a thin frame. When it is plugged into any USB mount, it will be scratched. Such is life when perfection is discovered. If I were to never plug it in, than it will always look beautiful, but its beauty fades away pretty quickly if I never plug it in and use it. When I mounted this drive, it was all blank. When I purchased the silver edition, there was an app to help me manage the data on the device. Not very important for me. It is the somewhat sloppy manufacturing of all Kingston devices which somewhat annoys me. When I look back at the gold and silver editions of these USB devices, despite a few minor negative aspects of it, the price makes it worth it. Kingston has always had a reputation of being good, but not the best.

They are small, beautiful, real gold-plated. They work like any other USB flash drive. Not the fastest, not the slowest. But the blinginess is attractive.

It's worked fine for the ~ 3 weeks that I've had it, small and lightweight enough to fit on my keychain, no problems fitting in any USB ports, looks really stylish. If I have any complaints, it's that the transfer rates aren't overly great. They're good enough for what I do with it (lightweight storage, keepass file storage), but if you frequently load large files, it'll get annoying.
