About Kingston Technology 4GB Class 4 SDHC

• Starting at 4 GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingston's SDHC cards use new speed "class" ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.
• Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
• For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.

It works with Arduino. It's slow on PC

from MN  -  Casual User

For the price I paid for 10 of them, I am fairly happy. Each came with an adapter, which is nice. I think one or two of the adapters became unreliable. This may be the cause of someone's grief. I have 10 so I swap adapters when I find the card is unreadable and narrowed down to two bad adapters. I've used these on my arduino and raspberry pi projects and for file storage. On arduino, if you use a very large capacity card, you waste a lot of time if you tally remaining free space so 4GB is perfect. I will be upgrading to larger sizes sometime soon but the class 10 16GB review is pretty awful. Maybe a different brand or it's the adapter issue again.

Good memory card...

Pretty simple here... bought two 4Gb SD Cards at a reasonable price, Adorama shipped them quickly and for free, they work as expected. Never had a problem with Adorama... good experience.

Very good

from Sunny Isles Beach, FL.  -  Professional

It's a simple product that works well. I use it often and I never have a problem.

from New York, NY  -  Professional

I use these cards to put music and pictures on them, so for these purposes, it works great for a low price. Because of the price, you don't get a mini case with each card, and I'm ok with that. It is a class 4 card, which means that you get about 4MB/s transfers, which is decent, but not super fast like a class 10. So for storage, it is sufficient.

Great for the price

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
AUDREY T  I like cards that are no bigger than 4 gb in case one goes bad or I lose one. That way I don't lose all pics from a trip. I have never had a card go bad though of any manufacturer. I have memory cards that are 8 years old and still working great.
Shopper  how many pictures does it hold?
tom g  If you use a 16 gig card and shoot in j-peg, holds 999+. Shooting in raw & j-peg at same time about 497.
