Kingston makes great SD cards - the 8GB is large enough to hold many, many photographs. Perfect for an older Canon Powershot camera.

I have been using the Kingston branded SDHC cards since the SDHC standard started. The cards are perfect for my needs. Shooting landscapes, I do not need speed but these are still quick and can hit the bursts with my camera if needed. Only reason I got more was to replace other brands... These are perfect for casual use, travel, landscapes.

Have relied on Kingston memory cards for a number of years - never a problem and ultra reliable. Just from the feel of the material used, you can tell these are quality cards compared to many of the other brands. Great price as well.

I purchase Kingston memory of all sorts for dependability in my day to day use, laptop camera, etc. I have earlier on tried other memory chips and paid the price and lost many precious memories because of it, but when I get a chance to purchase Kingston memory for a good price, I do. The chips I purchased were class 4 would I have liked faster chips of course but not being professional with high demand, for the price I paid the chips are working beautifully. I don't expect world record products and speeds I'm more into being able to rely on a products performance especially when I can get it for a good price.

I can take 2000 pictures with this card in my little Nikon S570 at 12 MP resolution. Kingston makes high-quality stuff. The last Kingston 4GB card I bought is still going strong after 3 years of use. The 8GB card is a great value.

The Kingston Technology 8 GB Class 4 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card is easy to use and it's bright color makes it easy to find in a camera case. I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this card from Adorama and I am quite satisfied with it. What else is there to say? It does what it is supposed to do, and well. Best aspect of it? Price.

I bought this SDHC card for my canon t1i. It arrives on time and works perfectly with my camera. I have got a canon hf s10 for video, so I don't expect too much from my t1i, so I don't have to buy a class 6 card. This class 4 card works very well with my camera and I didn't notice obvious delays when shooting. For video, I just took a video for about one minute, so I don't know its performance in video. So, if you use canon t1i mainly for its still images, this card is a good choice.

I've always been a Sandisk card user, but I figured I would try the Kingston card given it's low price and moderately rated speed. So far I have shot thousands of images with my T1i using the card and have been very impressed with the speed of the card. In continuous shooting it doesn't "choke" and I have had absolutely no issues with compatibility.I highly recommend this card if you feel other brands are just too expensive!

This card came bundled with a new camera. I had already bought an 8Gb Class 6 card so this one is smaller and slower than the one I intend to use on a day-to-day basis. However, it will be useful to me as a second card to use in a pinch.

The read/write speed of the card varies, depending on where the card is manufactured. I have two of this card and obtained both of them from Adorama (separate orders but within 10 days or so). The first card is made in Japan; it's fast (not the fastest but very acceptable). After I tested this first card, I place another order for a second one, but this time, I received a card that is made in Taiwan. This second card is much slower than the Japanese-made one. The two cards are identical in all aspect (of course, except the serial number and the made in XXX label). So be careful when you read the review because the speed of the card definitely depends on the batch. I am using a Canon Ti1.

Worked Great!

My wife and I used this card mainly for video capture and an occasional wide angle pic or two with a Canon SD 800 IS while on a Great White Shark Dive and Safari in Southern Africa. The card performed flawlessly while in somewhat harsh environments. We took video while in an underwater housing for the great white shark dive in 12 deg C H2O (over an hour in the water) as well as other video in the Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavanago Delta areas. It worked through rainy and humid conditions gi...

Starting at 4 GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, Kingston's SDHC cards use new speed "class" ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.
Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).
For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.
