Most Liked Positive Review

Elite Chrome 100

This film provides good flexibility and detailed images with realistic colors. Even though it provides great color and grain, the sharpness is only good. Realistic.

VS

Most Liked Negative Review

Kodak Elite Chrome 100 Saturation

Kodak Elite Chrome 100 has fine grain but slightly more subdued colors, and it has almost no latitude in exposure. The exposure settings must be on the mark to get a good picture, as this film is not forgiving. Slide films, by nature, require proper exposure settings but it really shows with this film.

I have used this product for over 30 years and find it to be consistent in its use; quality, forgiveness of exposure and color and clarity.

Colors are awesome

By

from Detroit  -  Photo Enthusiast

I mainly use this film on vacations in Mexico and such, where you have lots of sun and bright colors. Never disappoints me there. Easy to scan. It does have pretty narrow tonal range, but than, all slide films that I tried have that. Definitely would recommend.

This is the standby; when Fuji costs less or is better available, I buy Fuji, but a tie goes to Kodak. Recommended by my 9th grade Graphic Arts teacher, I still use it all the time for my patients photographs, until I have to reluctantly switch to digital. I hope they never stop making it; it will be a very sad day if they do :( .

DON A  I don't know if this will be much help. Here on the high desert we don't have much choice. In the past i could take my film in to I.E. Wall Mart,Thrifty VONS stores and ask for "proceccing by Kodak"and get quality processing. I don't trust mailing my film so i go to Wall mart , they tell me that FUJI does the processing but i doubt that as FUJI puts their logo on past work they have done for me. Now my slide come back with the logo "COLOR"on the slide and no other info. I think that if wall mart is sending it to Fuji it's been "farmed out to ?? " In the past i"ve read that we slide people are obsolete (so to speak) Sorry I coudn't be more helpful GOOD LUCK ,Don
