I Finally Found It!

I've been unable to find this for years but finally discovered it is still sold by Tiffen under the Tiffen name instead of Kodak. Same Great Product.

What I expected

I've used other lens cleaning tissues before, I found it to be about the same. It didn't shred, but did leave some fibers behind. I always follow up my lens cleaning using a Microfiber cloth, or using a Lens Cleaning Pen. I use lens tissues, as a pre-clean. ;) I also like the way, the tissues are packaged and that it keeps the dust away. I used stuff that was held together by just a staple. So overall it was just what I had expected.

Cheap and gets the job done!

It's cleaning tissue... it cleans! The small packs are great for jamming into your gear bag and keeps the tissue in good shape until you need it. Use a small amount of lens fluid with these and your lenses are debris free and sparkly ;-)

Good tissues, good price

By

I just order this as filler and extra packing material with other orders. Then I use it up. It's good stuff at a good price. No complaints.

World's Greatest Review

Have you ever bought a product and as a result had your expectations blown out of the water? Well, this is not that product. Your expectations will be spot on. They're lens tissues, nothing more.

Need to spend an extra half penny

By

from Grayson, GA  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

The good..Lens tissue is good for a camera lens and they give you plenty of it for the price. The bad..They failed to staple it so they expect me to keep 50 sheets together on the go. The first thing I did was to staple it. Still a good deal.

Thankful I got this product

By

from Wisconsin  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

This product, along with Zeiss lens cleaner spray, work great! I was very surprised at how much dirt the tissues picked up, especially around the edges of my lenses. I had no ideas my lenses were so dirty.

Does what it promises

By

from Sydney, Australia  -  Professional

I use these for sensor cleaning of Nikon D3s and my other FX format Nikon cameras, using the Nikon official method of sensor cleaning and an appropriate cleaning fluid. This works well and these are a reasonable alternative to the hard to find (outside of Japan) "silbon paper" used by Nikon themselves in their own Japan only "Pro Cleaning Kit". This method is only for the very experienced, given the dangers of sensor cleaning if done carelessly. You MUST exercise proper clean working practices because you are working with very sensitive equipment. That said, these save me a lot of time (no need to visit Nikon) and the lens tissues are a very economical purchase for the excellent quality. For general cleaning purposes, the tissues are good as well. Adorama is to be commended as well, getting these from NY to Sydney Australia in such short time.
