Kodak Portra 800 is a must have in tricky or low light situations. It renders skin tone perfectly and I use it a lot when I am indoors and have available light. If you don't want to bust out the flash this is the color film you need to turn too. The only thing is you should be careful and expose correctly... I find this film excels when you expose manually. If you let the camera do the thinking sometimes it may be too dark or too many yellows will come out. Also in my experience and this may be just me but the 35mm version of this film is not as good as the 120. It seems to be even more temperamental. With that being said, if you do nail the exposure correctly you will be rewarded with fantastic images and no need to photoshop free time of glory.

I love the grain it creates. I'm in love with the texture and color the film creates in indoor lighting situations. It works pretty well too when push processed 1 stop, although sometimes it isn't needed. My only worry is how long it will last in this 800 ISO. I'll pay the premium price but to a point.

This is a great Pro film. I shoot exclusively in natural light situations and this allows for low light without compromising quality.
